Question #2:

Career women a symptom of Darwinism at its finest?

Take a good look at the Forbes list of the most powerful women ( Click Here ) and tell me if this list of some of the homliest women you will find (many seems to have butch hair) is not a Darwinistic trend occurring in our Society. Men will not pay the bills of FAT or Fugly women. This is a given. Also, knowing this and because FAT and Fugly women have many Fri/Sat nights free because no man wants to go out with them, they have plenty of time to work hard on school/their careers.

Hot women on the other hand can ignore school/career and often just go to school or their jobs as a time filler until they meet a man who will pay their bills. They don't take their careers seriously and don't worry about their financial situation as a man will pay their Visa bill by the end. Therefore there is no incentive for them to work hard to obtain a career. Hot women don't need to earn their own money.

The obvious exceptions to the rule (Singers, Models, Actresses) are known, so don't come in here talking to me about Beyonce. I'm talking about your traditional careers and those who are successful in Business/Corporate world. We aren't seeing too many 9s and 10s working 80 hours/week as CEO or Executive Vice President out there. They know that they can get that Mercedes paid for by being hot and being able to suck a watermelon through a garden hose.

Also, please don't tell me about ugly men working hard, etc... Both ugly and attractive men need to work hard to be able to attract the hot girls for marriage. Women will ignore how ugly a man is as long as he has money where men are not blinded by a FAT or fugly woman's bank roll.

Anyone else see the Darwinistic symmetry built into our society?

Which is better: destroy the world or save it?

Suppose that if you have the fame, fortune and power to influence world events to your advantage or the disadvantage of others, what would you do with it: destroy the world, current society, and build a new one from the ashes or save it from destroying itself by influencing society itself and those in power? As for me, if I have the power, wealth and fame to influence the outcome of world events, I would plunge the current society into destruction, I DON'T CARE HOW MANY PEOPLE DIE, and build a utopia or much more fun, a dystopia, where I am the boss, able to take revenge against those who have wronged me or get the last laugh over the rest of humanity...Pardon me for my cruel and hopeless view on the world and humanity but I can't seem to find anything good in the world...everyone fights each other most of the time for reasons which a "win-win" situation can be reached through compromise or dialogue, everyone is acting good towards you but eventually they'll hurt you or pull you down, everyone's taking advantage of one another and everyone is doing something that is tearing the world apart instead of working together in unity.

Question #12:

Should we take celebrities wealth away?

Should we take celebrities wealth away and use it to feed poor children and build a free healthcare system for everyone in america. And then after we take their money away celebrities will know what it is like to suffer; be hungry and poor and have to get a real job.

Question #13:

Christians, should celebrities be stripped of wealth and tv prohibited.?

Dont you guys think its time that we uproot a major evil in society which can be collectively called hollywood; i sure as hell think so, hollywod in my opinion is responsible for up to 75% of the moral decline not just in America but across the globe. Hollywood is a major evil and is one of satan's primary tools in spreading sin. Tv shows nowadays promote premarital sex (not saying it doesn't happen but the promotion of it is getting out of hand!),drugs and alchol and worst of all it is spreading the notion of accepting gays. I think it is time we put a stop to this by removing every tv station in America, the only tv station i would permit is the NEWS and thats it; also the music industry needs to be destroyed and we need to strip celebrities of their enormous fortunes and take their money to build a more productive healthcare in america. I look forward to hearing everyones opinion on this
@coop i said in my opinion or did you not see that part?

Question #14:

Do you think scotland should be independent?

I believe Scotland should not become independent

While Scotland might not be fully in control of its own matters I think it should remain part of the United Kingdom. I mean independence wouldn’t be the answer to our problems.

If we separated from the UK, Edinburgh alone wouldn’t get 11 billion pounds a year and we would be no longer be funded billions of pounds that the Westminster gives us, including an education budget. The new Scottish government would openly dismiss the idea of student fees leaving Scotland to go in a financial problem and eventually have to bring in the fees along with the troubles it will bring from the unemployed youths.

Those preferring independence would debate that my points about financial crises is incorrect as the country has access to oil.
But how long is that going to last? Oil is running out. And fast. Even though the prices are getting higher, civilians can no longer afford it to fuel their vehicles.
Yes, independence might be fine for a couple of years. But it will soon come obliterating down as the supplies finally drown.
And what about the Kyoto Protocol? We signed it in the hopes of building a better future and promising to decrease our carbon footprint. Wouldn’t our words of an eco-friendlier place become hollow and empty if Scotland was known for its temporary oil riches.

The economic case for Scotland independence is unravelling bit by bit and I say we should vote against Scottish independence as it is easier to prevent mass-debt than to clean up the problems afterwards.

Three credit agencies believe Scotland will not be able to retain the Triple A status that the UK currently have.

The gold standard means borrowers can usually secure a loan at lower interest rates, as there is much less risk that the money will not be repaid. If an independent Scotland failed to reach the grade, it could push up borrowing costs for the government, making debt harder to sell meaning ministers will have less cash to spend on roads, schools and hospitals.

The Triple A grade is the highest a company or country can receive and if an independent Scotland was downgraded by the ‘bond vigilantes’, it could mean we would be spending more on borrowing and less on what the country needs.

Do we really want that? I can safely say for all of us that we don’t want our country to be slipping into a down-turn economic crisis.

Being independent will mean we’ll have to change our passports, our currency and our wealth status. Wouldn’t be easier to just with status quo as even though it may not be fully democratic we are the 7th biggest economic country in the world.

But what do you think. Will the public agree with me and are the voters going to vote for or against independence. In ten years will be an independent nation?

Question #15:

Am I being a 'Male Chauvinist pig'?

Am I being a 'Male Chauvinist pig' if the only reason I can see for having a woman in my life currently is to share the housework so as I can get on with building a business empire and creating some products to save the ordinary person money by harnessing the natural elements to create the energy we need to power our homes? I 'FEEL' now as if I really do not NEED anyone in my life and I LOVE the freedom I currently have being on my own. I've broken through that 'loneliness' barrier now. The reason I am asking this is that I am curious to know if there is anyone in a similar situation to me. I have been seeing someone for 3 years now who is still married but has been promising me for the last 3 years that she will leave her husband. Only trouble is, she Loves her house, and doesn't want to leave it. Whereas her husband doesn't. I'm now getting frustrated by the hole situation now after 3 years of 'having an affair', but have suddenly realised that she's pushed me THROUGH that loneliness barrier now and I don't FEEL lonely any more. All I want to do, as a degree qualified Electronics and Communications Engineer, is put my new ideas for free energy generation into place, get myself OUT of debt and start creating wealth within my newly set up company.
Is that being selfish? or Male chauvinistic?! Because to be honest, even though I met another SINGLE lady last year who I have far more in common with and have amazing chemistry with, I'm wondering if I should stay single for a little while longer and work on my 'Free Energy Solutions' instead.
Before you all answer, Please NO religious answers, I am not religious at all now. I am VERY ambitious, AND if you are into astrology I am a Fire Goat Aries/Taurus. You will understand what that means if you are into astrology.

Question #16:

I just finished reading atlas shrugged. I have some problems with the ending. /Rant?

John Galt: You are all individuals, being an individual looking after your own individual needs first and foremost is good. Greed is good. Altruism is bad. I am John Galt, I am an individual. I will never ask another man or woman to live for me and neither should you.

Now go quit your job; get a new job, the crummiest lowest paying job that you can find. The EVILLL socialist government is stopping you from being productive so stick it to them by being even less productive! This will cause their civilization to collapse and from the ashes we will built my new Utopia. Many, many people will undoubtedly die. Don’t worry they’re just looters, socialists and undesirables and don’t deserve to live anyway. Most of the wealth and possessions that you own will be destroyed or rendered useless because this philosophy can only work if everyone starts off on an equal footing (This is totally not a form for wealth re-distribution. wealth re-distribution is a socialist thing! And socialists are Evil with a capitol E!).

If you are rational individual you will agree with my proposed scheme and freely choose to go along with it. If you do not agree with it you are an Evil communist/ socialist/ looter/ strawman and will perish in the upcoming apocalypse.

Every productive person of America: Horrah for Galt! Let’s blindly follow his instructions

The immediate effect of Galt’s words are that all over America business owners pack up and quit and set fire to their property; people lynch and beat up and stone half to death those who hold Evil communist/ socialist/ looter/ views contrary to the views of Galt; people beat up people in their lives who are dependent on them and people beat other people who act altruistically, seriously, I quote:

“the attendants of a hospital in New York City showed no astonishment at the case of a woman who came in with a fractured jaw: she had been slapped in the face by a total stranger, who had heard her ordering her five-year old son to give his best toy to the children of neighbors.”

These are the people who will inherit the earth.

Civilisation collapses

John Galt: I’m ready to build my super-duper utopia now.

The End

Another thing, what about national defense in the interim between the collapse of America and the Rise of Galt’s shiny new objectivist society? Do the striker’s actions inspire the producers in every other country to strike resulting in a worldwide apocalypse or does the rest of the world just carry on?

If the latter, by the time the adherents to Galt philosophy rebuild the good ol US and A to the point where it can function as a nation on the world stage are they going to find themselves subservient to some other country who has taken over America’s position as world leader. Like say the Chinese or, if we assume that the year that Atlas takes place is only a few years after publication, Soviet Russia?

Question #17:

Men: Do you like women who embrace their femininity and natural gender roles...?

...by judging men only by their ability to protect (height and build) and provide (wealth)?

Question #18:

How to calculate contribution per month?

Ross has decided that he wants to build enough retirement wealth that, if invested at 6 percent per year, will provide him with $4,900 of monthly income for 25 years. To date, he has saved nothing, but he still has 15 years until he retires.

How much money does he need to contribute per month to reach his goal? (Do not round intermediate calculations and round your final answer to 2 decimal places.)

Its a finance question.
compounded and tax free

Question #19:

Has it occurred to anyone that raising taxes would reduce the government's ability to borrow and spend?

Lowering tax rates on the top income brackets as well as taxes on investment income free capital which increases our savings which in turn increases capital for investment. All of this capital must go somewhere or lose value via inflation.
Much of the money the federal government has borrowed has come from domestic sources. In fact, demand for Treasury Bonds outstrips supply to the point that rates of return are rock bottom low.
Among other things; isn't that indicative of both an overabundance of free capital and the fact that taxes are so low that returns on Treasury Bonds are still widely attractive?
Isn't it likely that raising tax rates on the high income brackets and on investment income would make it more costly and difficult for the government to borrow(higher interest rates on bonds) and direct free capital to riskier yet more aggressive investments that will build wealth and create jobs? That is, help the economy?

Question #20:

Is nation building is a gift from prosperous, well-developed countries to help those less fortunate, or that nation building is the effort of prosperous, well-developed countries to gain more power and wealth?

Thank you to all those who help!
